Abstract

The Ibadan University Library, Nigeria's oldest research library, has been expanding since 1954. The library's card catalogue, divided into categories like Author/Title, Serials, Subject, Bliss, L.C., and Union, faces challenges due to capacity and card locating. Despite potential automation, lack of funds has hindered progress.
